(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) -The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment working with our Community Partners recognize there will be a large influx of visitors to the area on Friday, October 13, 2017.

To ensure the orderly flow of traffic and pedestrians, it is necessary to redirect traffic. St. George St. will become a one way street for southbound traffic only. St. Andrew St. will become a one way street for northbound traffic only. Main St. will be closed to through traffic.

Nelson Street from Main Street to St. Patrick Street will be closed. Nelson Street to St. George Street will be closed. Nelson Street (Radical Road) to Blueline Road will be westbound traffic only. St. Patrick Street will be closed from Chapman Street to Bridge Street. Clinton Street will be closed to St. Andrew’s Street to St. Patrick Street. Union Street at Prospect Street will be closed to through traffic.

Traffic barriers will be placed on Main St, St. George St., and St. Andrews St. from Walker St., to Nelson St. Barricades will be erected at a time as designated by the Incident Commander in response to traffic volume.

No parking will be permitted on the east side of St. Andrew St., or on the west side of St. George St., Port Dover for the entire day. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

 

There will be a highly visible police presence to ensure the safety of those in attendance and assist with traffic related issues. Media outlets will be advised of any significant changes.
