Outlaws motorcycle club member arrested


LONDON, ON (October 18, 2017) – On Wednesday, October 17, 2017, members of the London Police Service (LPS), with the assistance of the OPP’s Biker Enforcement Unit, arrested two men following an investigation into counselling someone to commit murder.

As a result of the investigation, a handgun was recovered and two individuals have been charged with the following Criminal Code of Canada offences:

  • Ryan Mark Daigneault, 41, of London, is charged with counselling to commit an indictable offence (murder), contrary to section 464(a). Daigneault is a member of the London chapter of the Outlaws Motorcycle Club.
  • Daniel M. Traquair, 30, of London, is charged with possessing restricted or prohibited firearm knowingly not holding a licence and registration certificate, contrary to section 92(1); and knowingly manufacture/transfer firearm/device or ammunition, contrary to section 99(1)(a).

No one was injured and the investigation is continuing. The two men are in custody at this time and are expected to appear in court today.
