The Peterborough Police Service is asking for the public’s help in identifying two suspects in an ongoing theft investigation.
On August 24, 2017 at approximately 5 p.m. a female entered the Chemong Road Walmart, selected electronics off the shelves, removed the electronic security devices from the items, concealed the items and then exited the store without making any attempts to pay for the items. The total value of the theft is more than $500. The female was last seen entering the passenger side of a red Ford Ranger pick-up driven by a male.
At approximately 8:15 p.m. on August 27, 2017 a female entered the same Walmart with a male following shortly after, selected electronics off the shelves, concealed the items and then left the store without making any attempt to pay for the items. The total value of the theft is estimated at $950.
The suspects are described as (please see photos below ):
- 30 to 40 years of age
- Reddish blond hair
- Wearing a black T-Shirt, black leggings and pink shoes
- Mid-thirties in age
- Short brown hair
- Wearing a purple T-Shirt, grey long-sleeved dress shirt, black pants, black and white shoes and a ball cap
