Police are looking to identify a suspect after a victim was stabbed during a street-level robbery Friday night in Pickering Town Center.

On Friday, September 29, 2017, at approximately 9:00 p.m., members of West Division responded to the Pickering Town Center after reports of a stabbing and robbery. Officers arrived to find a 17-year-old male with stab wounds and he was taken to local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The suspect made a demand for cash and when the victim refused to give him any, the victim was stabbed. The suspect made away with the victim’s backpack and jacket.

The suspect is described as: male, black with a medium build, possibly 16 to 20 years old, 5’7″ tall.
