Picton man charged after allegedly using credit card stolen from vehicle


(Prince Edward County, ON) On October 23, 2017 a theft from a vehicle was reported to officers of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Prince Edward County detachment. The officers learned from the complainant that her wallet had been removed from her unlocked vehicle in the previous few days and now her credit card had been used at a local Picton store.

The subsequent investigation by the OPP officers identified a local male as responsible for the theft.

On October 26, 2017 Taylor TERPSTRA age 24 of Picton was arrested and charged with Theft Under $5000 and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime.

TERPSTRA will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice Picton on November 15, 2017 to answer to the charges.
