LONDON, ON (October 20, 2017) – On Thursday, October 19, 2017, members of the Guns and Drugs Section, comprised of members of the London Police Service and RCMP, executed search warrants at residences on Wonderland Road North, Platts Lane, and Richmond Street.

In total, the following items were seized:

  • Loaded .40 calibre firearm
  • 5540g of suspected Phenacetin (cutting agent), value $39,000
  • 90g of Cocaine, value $9000
  • 15 x 30mg Hydromorphone tablets , value $750
  • 50 x 18mg Hydromorphone tablets, value $1000
  • 44 x 12mg Hydromorphone tablets, value $880
  • 13 Oxycodone, value $65
  • 11g of Marihuana, value $110
  • Cocaine Press
  • Approximately $22,000 in Canadian Currency

As a result of the warrants and subsequent investigation, the following individuals have been charged with the following Criminal Code of Canada and Controlled Drugs and Substances Act offences:

Moaied Elfaki, 23 years, of London:

  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking;
  • Dangerous operation of a motor vehicle;
  • Unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm;
  • Two counts of careless storage of firearm, weapon, prohibited device or ammunition;
  • Possession of a loaded/unloaded regulated firearm; and
  • Fail to comply with recognizance.

Peroti Scott, 28 years, of London:

  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking;
  • Possession of a Schedule I substance; and
  • Possession of a Schedule II substance, not in excess.

Alexandria Miranda, 22 years, of London:

  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking;
  • Possession of a Schedule I substance; and
  • Possession of a Schedule II substance, not in excess.

Ayub Ali, 23 years, of Etobicoke, ON:

  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking; and
  • Fail to comply with conditions of undertaking given by office in charge.

Mohamed Farah, 28 years of Hamilton, ON:

  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking.

A 25-year-old London man has been charged by way of warrant application for:

  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking;
  • Possession of a Schedule I substance;
  • Possession of a Schedule II substance, not in excess; and
  • Fail to comply with undertaking.

A 25-year-old London female has been charged by way of summons for:

  • Unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm;
  • Two counts of careless storage of firearm, weapon, prohibited device or ammunition; and
  • Possession of a loaded/unloaded regulated firearm.

A 19-year-old London female has been charged by way of summons for:

  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking.

Five of the individuals charged are expected to appear in court today.
