Security Camera image of persons, and vehicle of interest in Attempt Murder investigation

The Toronto Police is seeking the public’s assistance with an Attempt Murder investigation in the Lawrence Heights area.

It is reported that:

  • On Friday, October 13, 2017, at approximately 11:05 p.m., a 24-year-old man was sitting on the front steps of his low-rise apartment building, talking on his cell phone
  • at this time, three unknown men in a vehicle drove up to the building
  • two of the unknown men exited the vehicle, armed with at least one firearm, and fired at least seven shots at close range toward the man, striking him several times
  • the unknown men then fled the area in the vehicle
  • the injured man was able to call for help and he was taken to hospital in life-threatening condition
  • after undergoing several hours of surgeries, he remains in stable condition.

Investigators are now seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the persons responsible for this attack. The vehicle is described as a four-door, dark-coloured sedan.
