Investigators from the Major Drugs and Vice Unit have arrested and charged two males in relation to a drug production investigation in the City of Mississauga.
On Thursday, October 26, 2017, Peel Regional Police investigators, with the assistance from the Ontario Provincial Police and Mississauga Fire and Emergency Services executed search warrants at several premises in the Region including a commercial property on Hensall Circle in Mississauga. Investigators located and safely dismantled an illegal production laboratory on Hensall Circle.
A large quantity of pills believed to be Xanax, a quantity of powdered substances and items used in the manufacturing of pills were seized.
Jermelle BAHADOSINGH, a 31 year-old male from Brampton was arrested and charged with Production of a Controlled Substance and two counts of Possession for the Purpose. BAHADOSINGH was held pending a bail hearing and appeared at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on Friday, October 27, 2017.
