Investigators with the York Regional Police Homicide Unit and Major Collision Investigation Unit have released an image of a vehicle of interest and continue to appeal to witnesses to come forward following the death of a man in the City of Markham.  

On Monday, October 9, 2017, shortly before 5 p.m., York Regional Police received a report that a man was unconscious and in need of medical assistance on Stirling Crescent. When officers arrived, they located a 30-year-old man, suffering from injuries. He was transported to hospital where sadly he succumbed to those injuries.

The victim has been identified as 30-year-old Michael KHAN, from the City of Markham. A post-mortem examination is scheduled for today to determine the cause of death.

Investigators have released an image of a vehicle of interest that was captured on video surveillance in the area at the time of the incident and are seeking public assistance to identify the vehicle and occupants. Investigators are also appealing to anyone that may have been driving in the area at the time that may have captured this vehicle on a dashcam to please come forward.
