(ELLIOT LAKE, ON) – On October 30, 2017, at approximately 7:35 p.m. members of the East Algoma Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a mischief call on Ste. Camillus Crescent in Elliot Lake.
The complainant reported that a male who was known to him, attended his residence on an ATV, and threw numerous eggs at the front window. The complainant recognized the male because he was not wearing a helmet.
On October 31, 2017, the suspect male was arrested.
Daniel SHOUP, 26 years of age, from Elliot Lake, was charged with:
- Mischief, contrary to section 430(1)(c) of the Criminal Code (CC)
- Driving while Disqualified – Court Order, contrary to section 259(4) of the CC
- Fail to Comply with Recognizance, contrary to section 145(3) of the CC
- Off Road Vehicle – Driver – No Helmet, contrary to section 19(1) Regulation 316 of the Highway Traffic Act (HTA)
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Elliot Lake on December 5, 2017.
