Napanee OPP warn public after 2 reports of objects in Halloween candy over weekend


(NAPANEE, ON) The Napanee Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is currently investigating complaints about sharp objects contained within Halloween candy. Over the weekend, two separate incidents were reported to police and both incidents there were non-life threatening were sustained.

The candy was believed to have been collected in the Town of Napanee over Halloween night on October 31, 2017. Police remind the public to check candy before consumption.
