This morning, November 9, 2017, shortly after 2:00 am, the Sarnia Police Service responded to a stabbing that took place in the area of Wellington Street and Mitton Street. Upon arriving, officers were able to locate a 36 year old victim in the parking lot area of the convenience store who had been stabbed.
The victim was transported to hospital and his status has recently been deemed to be critical.
Currently, the area around the 7-Eleven convenience store has been taped off along with a residence to the north of the store on Mitton Street. The store currently remains closed and the area will remain tapped off for an undetermined period of time as a crime scene.
Members of the Sarnia Police Service Criminal Investigation Branch require your assistance in regards to identifying three individuals in the photo located at the end of this report. Officers wish to speak to these individuals regarding any information they may have pertaining to the stabbing.
