BEAR Unit detectives are currently investigating a theft of an ATM Machine.  The public’s assistance is required in order to capture the parties responsible for this crime.   

On Tuesday October 17, 2017 shortly after 3:30am, a restaurant located in west Ancaster was broken into and the ATM inside the restaurant was stolen.

Two suspects dressed in dark clothing used a red four door Ford pickup truck to conduct the theft.The truck was backed up to the front doors of the restaurant and a chain was tied around the ATM. The truck was then used to pull the ATM outside of the restaurant where it was then loaded into the bed of the truck.

The Ford truck is observed to be missing the rear tailgate.

Detectives are appealing to anyone that may have information about this crime to contact police. Images caught on camera of the suspect vehicle have been provided for the public to view and help aid in its identification.
