Campbellford: OPP investigating suspicious fire


(CAMPBELLFORD, ON) -On January 10, 2018 at 5:43 p.m. the Northumberland Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was notified by the Trent Hills Fire Department of a garage fire at a residence on Grand Road that was determined to be suspicious in nature. The Office of the Fire Marshal (OFM) was notified by fire officials and is assisting with the investigation.

Evidence was collected at the scene by the OPP Forensic Identification Services (FIS) and the fire remains under investigation by the Trent Hills Fire Department, OFM and Northumberland OPP. No one was injured as a result of the fire.
