OPP appeal for witnesses following suspicious death of man in Grafton

(GRAFTON, ON) -On January 5, 2018 at approximately 7:00 a.m. members of the Northumberland Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of deceased male located in the area of Lyle Street, Grafton and Highway 401.

Detectives from the Northumberland Crime Unit are presently investigating the circumstances of the death under the direction of Detective Staff Sergeant Matthew Watson of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB).

Investigators advise that there is no public safety concern at this time.

The deceased male has now been identified as Stephane VAILLANCOURT age 39 of Quebec City, Quebec. His car, a grey 2006 Toyota Corolla Quebec Licence #N64LBC, was also located at the scene.
