Video: Police seeking suspect in two sexual assault cases


(TORONTO AND COLLINGWOOD, ON) – It has been a year since the second incident and the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and the Toronto Police Service (TPS) continue to investigate two connected sexual assault cases. OPP and TPS are seeking the help of the public in providing information regarding the suspect associated with these cases. The suspect is described as a male with brown skin, 5’7″, mid 20s to 30s with a beard and of medium build.

On January 1, 2017, at approximately 1:20 a.m., a 17-year-old female was walking through a residential area near Birch Street and Second Street in Collingwood. She was forced into a vehicle and assaulted.

On July 28, 2015, at approximately 12:56 a.m., a 23-year-old female was walking home from a bus station near Rogers Road and Dufferin Street in Toronto. She was approached by the suspect, forced into an alley and assaulted. Police have confirmed that both sexual assaults were committed by the same individual. The suspect’s car is described as a four-door sedan (2005-2010), silver/grey or tan in colour with black steel winter rims.
