The Toronto Police Service requests assistance identifying a man wanted in a stabbing investigation. 

On Saturday, January 21, 2018, at approximately 11:30 p.m., officers responded to a call for a stabbing in the St. George Street and Prince Arthur Avenue area. 

It is reported that: 

  • a group of men attempted to enter a private party 
  • they were denied entry by a 21-year-old man 
  • one of the men produced an edged weapon 
  • he stabbed the 21-year-old man 

The 21-year-old man was taken to hospital and treated for his injuries. 

The suspect is described as 5’6″-5’8″, black hair. He was wearing dark clothing. 

Security camera images of the man are released.
